My goal is to empower and inspire you to make positive nutrition and lifestyle choices that can have a profound effect on your health.
As an affiliate member of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine I fully support their mission to make the six pillars of health (sleep, diet, exercise, stress management, social connectivity, and avoiding risky substances) more common public health knowledge. Therefore, my approach is always centered around these principles. This clarity enables you to make more informed choices and meaningful steps toward your health and wellness.
As a holistic health coach, I take a comprehensive approach. True well-being requires attention to all aspects of the whole person. Broadly, we refer to this as mind, body, and spirit but the full spectrum of well-being includes physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, social, environmental, financial, intellectual, and occupational well-being. We are not one without the other. Additionally, our various biological systems (skeletal, muscular, nervous, vascular, respiratory, etc.) are intimately intertwined but our current model treats them as individual organs or symptoms that can be siloed. I recognize and want to help you recognize that our bodies are complex, intelligent, interconnected systems that are capable of thriving so long as we support them. However, in today's fast-paced, hyper-distracted world, we have become so disconnected from our bodies and the signals (postive or negative) they send us. My hope is to guide you back to that awareness and connection by providing education, encouraging mindful practices, nourishing food choices and positive lifestyle habits to help you reestablish harmony within yourself.
While nutrition is a cornerstone of my programs, we will certainly touch on much more. We will address other important topics like environmental stressors, toxins in and around our homes and in our personal care products, emotional well-being, exercise tips, tips for getting quality, restorative sleep, product reviews and swaps for healthier options, and much more.
